Why might an HEIC file fail to convert?

HEIC files can use different codecs and contain multiple frames. Very large files may also exceed your browser's available memory. The tool reports conversion errors rather than uploading the file elsewhere.

Does JPG keep HEIC transparency?

No. JPG cannot store transparency. Transparent pixels are rendered on a white background.

Is the photo sent to a server?
